YVFE3 225M-2/4/6/8 IE3 VF 3-Phase Asynchronous Motor
Motor Description
Common faults and troubleshooting methods are as follows when this series of motor fails during the operating process.
If the motor shell is live, reasons may be:
1) bad grounding;
2) damp winding, insulation damage or dirt on the terminal board;
3) frayed lead wire.
Relevant solutions are:
1) check ground connection;
2) winding drying, repair insulation damage and clean the wiring board;
3) repair or replace the insulated wire.If the motor has abnormal sound at operating, possible reasons are:
1) motion of defective phase;
2) bearing damage and lack of oil;
3) mechanical rubbing or rubbing between stators and rotors;
1) check electrical connections and eliminate phase failure;
2) replace the bearing or grease;
3) check the stator bore for any debris such as paint lump, then process.If the motor has abnormal vibration during operation, reasons are:
1) loose installation of motor or load;
2) the coupling or pulley is eccentric or unbalanced;
3) the shaft is bent after impact;
4) poor rotor balancing.
When facing this condition, solutions are:
1) check and fasten the foot bolt;
2) calibrate the eccentricity or rebalance;
3) replace the rotor or shaft;
4) rebalance.
