Motor Overview

      Xi'an Lite simo motors YR open-wound high-voltage three-phase asynchronous motor is an important product series established by our company by adopting ABB's high-voltage three-phase asynchronous motor technical grade standard and combining with our many years of practical experience in high-voltage motor manufacturing.

      The power level, mounting dimensions and electrical performance of this series of motors are in accordance with the national standard GB755 ‘Basic Technical Requirements for Rotating Motors’ and the IEC standard of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The mechanical dimensions and tolerances of each part of this series of motors are in accordance with the national standard GB1800-1804 and the ISO standard of the International Committee for Standardization. According to G84942.1 and IEC34-5 ‘Motor Shell Protection Classification’, the shell protection level of this series of motors is IP00, and the open type motors can also be made into pipeline ventilated type IPR44 according to the requirements of the users, and if the users need other protection levels, such as IP44, IP54, and IP24, etc., they can be negotiated separately. The cooling method of this series of motors is IC01 according to the standard of G81993 and IEC34-6 ‘Cooling Method of Electric Motor’, and other cooling methods can be negotiated if required by users. The basic mounting method of this series of motors is horizontal with foot (IMB3) structure, which is in accordance with the provisions of GB997 and IEC34-7 ‘Motor Structure and Mounting Type Code’.

Structure description

      Xi'an Lite simo motors YR series large open wire-wound high-voltage motors are of steel plate welded structure with base frame; protection class IP00 natural ventilation cooling, cooling method IC01, or can be customised to protection class IPR44 duct ventilation type.

      Stator core outer diameter 1180mm~2150mm, power range 400kW~5000kW.

      Installation type IM7311, power supply frequency 50Hz, power supply voltage 6000V, permissible voltage deviation range ±5%, power supply rated frequency 50Hz.

      Rated type S1, insulation class F (assessed as class B). Stator wiring is Y-connection, adopting seat type sliding bearing, lubrication is compound lubrication, and self-lubrication can be adopted for small power and those operating in low temperature environment.

      Xi'an Lite simo motorsYR open-wound high-voltage three-phase asynchronous motors are equipped with stator winding temperature measuring device and bearing temperature measuring device, which can realise real-time temperature monitoring and alarm at a long distance, and this series of motors can be used to drive all kinds of mills, rolling mills, crushers, fans, pumps and other machinery.

      This series of high-voltage motors are suitable for indoor environments with altitude not exceeding 1000m, ambient temperature below 40℃, less dust, no steam, acid, alkali and other corrosive and explosive gases, if there is more dust in the operating environment, you should clean up the dust inside the motor regularly, and do a good job of dustproofing the bearings.

      This series of high-voltage motors can be made into duct ventilation structure at the request of customers.

      This series of motors conforms to GB755 ‘Rotating Motor Quotas and Performance’ and IEC of International Electrotechnical Commission.

Motor starting

      The rotor design of Xi'an Lite simo motors YR open-wound high-voltage three-phase asynchronous motor adopts advanced calculation technology to calculate the starting temperature rise and stress of the rotor to prevent the motor from early damage due to excessive starting load.

      It is recommended that the user verifies that: (1) the rotational inertia of the rotating part of the driven machinery and equipment (after converting it to motor speed) should not exceed the value of the (J load) item in the technical data sheet (2) the user's power grid should ensure that the motor terminal voltage is not less than 85 per cent of the rated voltage during the starting process of the motor (3) the resisting torque characteristics of the driven machinery are those of the pumps and blowers type. This

      Under the above conditions, the motor is allowed to be started twice consecutively in the actual cold state, with the motor being naturally parked between the two starts, or once in the hot state of the same motor, and the additional restarting of the motor should be after 4 hours of parking.

      If the moment of inertia of the mechanical rotating part of the motor drive exceeds the value of (J load) in the technical data sheet, or if the motor is required to be started frequently, or if it is possible to start the motor with a load, be sure to contact the manufacturing company in advance for consultation. Please consult with the manufacturer in advance for special design to ensure the reliable operation of the motor.
